Damaged Shipments and
Damaged Merchandise:
Our deliveries are fully insured. You MUST inspect your shipment for damage
before signing for and accepting your merchandise. A shipping container may
appear flawless, but have been dropped in transit thus damaging its contents.
look for internal damage and external damage to the item you are inspecting. It
is also possible for a shipping container to be damaged, but the contents to be
totally intact. This is why it is very important to fully inspect the shipment
before inspecting it. This will also help to avoid costly mistakes. If you
notice damage, refuse that package in the shipment, accept any other items you
may have ordered after carefully inspecting them, note the damage on the bill of
lading, and call our customer service department immediately and we will provide
you with an Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. If issues take place
after you have signed for and accepted your shipment(s), you are responsible for
filing any and all claims with the shipper.
Defective Merchandise:
Most products we sell carry a manufacturer's warranty of one year or more.
Any defective products must be handled by the respective manufacturer under the
terms of their warranty. NJAppliance.com will not exchange or replace defective items that fall under their manufacturer's warranty coverage. You must refer to the owner's manual and/or warranty card for the information on how to contact the manufacturer regarding product defects.
